My Story

I am a transition year student at Bandon Grammar school. I have set up this fundraising page to support Habitat for Humanity's important programme helping and benefiting vunerable groups and orphans in Zambia. In June 2020, I am travelling to Kabwe in Zambia, to help and build homes for vunerable communities in Kabwe. As background, kabwe is described as the most toxic town in the world, where mass lead poisoning has damaged the brains and other organs of generations of children, and where children continue to be poisoned every day.  I am undertaking several fundraising events locally in Cork to help raise a total of €2,800 for this cause.
