My Story

On June 27th 2020 I will be travelling to Zambia with 24 Student and 6 Adult Volunteers on Habitat for Humanity Ireland’s Global Village programme.
The Global Village Programme involves the participation of volunteers from Ireland who travel overseas to physically build homes in partnership with local communities for a period of 2 weeks. The team will be involved in fundraising activities in advance of travelling to cover the cost of their trip, which will include a substantial donation to Habitat for Humanity’s work both in Ireland and Zambia.
Habitat for Humanity works in Ireland and around the world to build homes, communities and hope. For over 40 years, Habitat has served 13 million people to address their shelter needs. Time and time again, we have witnessed how access to simple, decent housing provides a solid foundation for a family to break the poverty cycle and build a secure future for their children.

Any support / donation you give is most appreciated. Greg
