My Story

Habitat for Humanity - Cuala GAA

In June 2020 I will be a part of a group of 24 Transition Year (16 y/o) students traveling to Zambia to help build houses with the charity Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with my GAA Club, Cuala.

During our two weeks in Zambia, we plan to help build three houses, for people who are currently living in shanty towns. These houses will make a big change in these people’s lives and hopefully lead to a brighter future.

I will be fundraising throughout the year, to achieve my goal of €2,800.

One of my main fundraiser is running 100km - 5k run every week for 20 weeks. Baking cookies and treats for social occasions. Bag packing at local supermarkets. Recycling Christmas trees and just anything else that will help raise funds.

I’d really appreciate any donations, however small or big, as every cent counts.

Many Thanks
